Empowering Encounters at the Building Wealth Today for Tomorrow Summit
Over the weekend, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the "Building Wealth Today for Tomorrow" summit in Chicago, hosted by the Chicago Treasurer's Office and presented by AARP Chicago. Even though the road stretched for 420 miles between Minneapolis and Chicago, my heart brimmed with anticipation and excitement. I embraced the splendid weather and embraced a fantastic road trip, immersing myself in empowering podcasts all the way there and back to Minneapolis.
The summit was a wealth of knowledge, featuring invaluable resources for attendees:
Resume Reviews: The Chicago Cook Workforce, TransUnion, and the Chicago Urban League provided attendees with the chance to fine-tune their resumes for success.
Professional Headshots: Participants had the opportunity to get professional headshots, perfect for boosting their online presence.

On-Site Coaching with LinkedIn: Hands-on coaching with LinkedIn experts for optimizing profiles and networking.
Mock Interviews: A great practice ground to sharpen interview skills and build confidence.
I must express my gratitude to my dear friend Chartay from AARP Chicago for extending the invitation and purchasing 50 copies of "Plethora of Wealth Affirmations." These books were generously given away to attendees at their seminars. It was an incredible experience to be back home in Chicago, surrounded by the beauty of diverse Black individuals who were enthusiastic about their financial futures.
During the event, I had the opportunity to connect with attendees from all walks of life and engage in discussions with organizations eager to explore potential collaborations. The positive feedback I received about my book, "Plethora of Wealth Affirmations," was truly heartwarming.
